Regenstech participated in the Circular Bootcamp in Taranto, part of the Re-think: Circular Economy Forum organized by Tondo and Eni Joule. The event was an important opportunity to bring together companies, startups, and innovators in the field of sustainability, promoting the development of the circular economy and innovative solutions for a greener future.

Maria Silvia Pazzi, CEO of Regenstech, shared our vision of how advanced technologies can redefine the concept of sustainability. During the Circular Bootcamp, Maria Silvia presented some examples of Regenstech’s work, demonstrating how we are helping to redefine the concept of a circular economy. Our approach is based on the use of recycled materials and the transformation of waste into valuable resources, both for the design and industrial sectors. For us, every product made from recycled materials represents a step forward toward a more sustainable economic system, reducing natural resource consumption and environmental impact.

The Circular Bootcamp in Taranto began at 9 a.m. with opening remarks from key figures such as Mattia Voltaggio, head of Eni’s business school, Domenica Surace, and Michelangelo Di Luozzo, Director of the Eni Refinery in Taranto. This was followed by an introductory panel titled “Local Ecosystems for Innovation and Sustainability,” featuring experts like Alessandro Strozzi from Open-es and Lavinia Carrese from Faros Accelerator.

The event was a valuable opportunity to make connections and expand our network, allowing us to exchange ideas and discuss new possibilities for collaboration. Topics covered included energy transition and sustainable mobility, with a focus on emerging technologies such as green hydrogen, biofuels, and Carbon Capture and Storage, as well as the impacts on energy infrastructure.

Water valorization and the blue economy were also discussed, exploring technologies and trends for the sustainable management of water resources and the enhancement of the marine environment. Additionally, the Bootcamp addressed the valorization of materials and residues, highlighting opportunities to optimize production processes from a circular perspective, particularly in the context of local and international manufacturing industries.

The Circular Bootcamp was a key moment for joining forces with other startups and companies, contributing to the debate on how innovation can accelerate the transition to a more circular and sustainable economy.
